Firenock history
Firenock™ has entered the archery market since the 2006 archery season.  From that day, it is believed that Firenock has been the most advanced lighted nock on the market.

What makes Firenock unique?
Firenock not only let you sight your shot placement, but also let you easily recover your precious game and find your arrow even in broad day light (Why?).  Unlike other brands’ lighted nock.  Firenock will remain lit even when it is shot into solid object like bone, wood or stone (Note: Optional genuine Firenock accessories are required).  This tough property of Firenock is accomplished by the special design circuitry.  Once Firenock’s circuitry is activated, it will remain lit until the circuitry is deactivated by the actuator.  This unique characteristic of the circuitry allows archers to track their game and this significantly increases the probability of game recovery.  From the above, Firenock is versatile, highly dependable, ultra light weight [~22 - 26 grains or ~10 - 14 grains including nock which a normal nock weighs ~12 grains] and highly reliable.  Firenock will be the ultimate lighted nock for today’s archers.

What are the classic models of Firenock?
Firenock is a high-tech piece of equipment with hunter’s mind designs.  Electronically, Firenock employs a double-sided SMT (Surface Mount Technology) electronic circuit board to achieve ultra lightweight and extra high reliability.  The circuit board is also epoxy coated to make it weatherproof.  4 styles of Firenock are released now.  More new Firenock's products and accessories are coming:

What? Firenock is not an one-time-use item!
Most of the Firenock’s electronic components are contained inside a special design transparent polycarbonate plastic nock.  This unique Polycarbonate Plastic Nock anchors and offers protection to the heart of Firenock, Firenock’s circuitry and this design allows Firenock’s circuitry to be removable from nock.  Thus Firenock’s nock is replaceable when it is worn out and Firenock’s circuitry can be reused.  Re battery installation, all Firenock's Nocks employ its international patented (design resigistered # 07008360 as of 3/27/2007) and US Patent Pending cross lock battery wire connector to lock the battery in place.  This special design battery wire connector eliminates the requirement of heavy casing and can absorb damaging shocks to the Firenock system when the shaft hit the game.  With the above mentioned special design nock and battery wire connector, Firenock achieves easy indoor or outdoor installation, battery field replaceable, and nock field replaceable.

With today’s high-speed bow, arrow can achieve a speed of > 300 ft/sec.  Furthermore, with today’s real life camo finishing, it becomes almost impossible to visually trace your arrow after shooting.  With Firenock high intensity focus beam LED, it is possible for you to see the entire arrow flight under broad daylight and even in total darkness.  Under broad daylight, you can see the entire arrow flight up to 65 yards.  In total darkness, you can see the flight even up to hundreds of yards.  In the past, you might think that the game was lost when the game was out of sight.  Now, you can easily recover game with Firenock.  The high intensity focus beam LED (Firenock v2.0 – 8,000 Lux) allows you to see Firenock under almost any lighting condition.  Questions like “Where did I hit?  Did I make a good shot?” are now resolved.  Moreover, the high intensity light beam will be critical to you especially during the legal half hour before and after sunset.

Firenock is ultra long lasting
With Firenock’s low power consumption ultra bright LED, you can use Firenock as a location beacon to easily find the location of the downed game in the dark and to use Firenock continuously for hours.  Ultra long lasting is achieved as Firenock employs replaceable high power lithium pin type battery which Firenock will stay lit for 18-22 hours continuously, and 38-48 hours under 1-hour increment with a fresh battery.  Thus you can use Firenock without concern of expensive battery or a one-time use lighted nock.

Firenock is hunter’s mind oriented
For ease of testing of Firenock reliability, we design the Firenock’s circuitry to function even if it is removed from the shaft.  Thus there should be virtually no failure after installation of Firenock as you can test Firenock before it is installed into the arrow shaft.  For versatility, Firenock polycarbonate plastic nock is engineered to be able to fit in different brands’ standard shaft.  Thus archers can use different brand’s shaft according to their will and according to different hunting environments. Although Firenock only adds ~10 to 12 grains to your arrow depending on the shaft, one should still re-sight the bow.  As an arrow at 390 grains leaving the bow at 260 ft/sec, it would hit 3/8” lower at 20 yards according to Firenock’s tests.
      For practice purpose, each pack of Firenock includes matched-weight (+/- 1 grain) practice nocks in green color.  You can use matched-weight practice nock to re-sight the bow and to save money.
